The models of Egyptian furniture were found at the excavations of burials pharaoh's (3400 - 2000 BC). These were most frequently caskets, chairs, bed, stools, made from the hard species of tree with the application of a rich incrustation from the malachite, bronze, ivory of gold, precious stones.
The legs of chairs, armchairs and stools then they made in the form of lion paws, bull feet and placed on kabluchki. Backs were usually vertical, sometimes inclined. Inclined back was connected with the rear legs by additional support vertical plate.
